It's different from a wilderness park, but also different from a crowded amusement park. The structures in this large park harmonize with trees, water, winter snow and other natural features. The park was constructed based on the "Play Mountain Plan" of the Japanese-American sculptor Isamu Noguchi. The idea was to create a park that works as one complete sculpture. The park has been a place where people can relax. The French restaurant L'enfant Qui Reve is in the central facility of the park, the Glass Pyramid, which is a symbol of the park. The park landscape varies beautifully from season to season and hour to hour. The sunset seen from our restaurant window is particularly wonderful. There are also seasonal changes in our menu. Each dish showcases our cooking skill and creativity. We hope you enjoy Hokkaido's fresh, seasonal food at our restaurant.
L'enfant qui reve
The restaurant's name, L'enfant Qui Reve, is French for "the boy who dreams."
Boys playing in the park inspired the owner to choose that name.
We continue to serve our special cuisine, which is available only at our restaurant.
